Carlos the Jackal has been sentenced to jail

The famous Venezuelan terrorist known as Carlos the Jackal has been sentenced to life in prison. 

He was found guilty of carrying out four bombings in France in 1982/83, which left 11 people dead and nearly 150 injured.
The 62-year-old has not denied that he was the leader of a gang that carried out attacks, but denied the latest French charges.

    I'm glad he's been sentenced to life, because the killing of innocent people is just plain barbaric and ruthless. Violence is never the way.
