British pets too fat
Too many British pets are getting fat
ANIMAL charity the PDSA are worried that too many animal owners in the UK are feeding their pets too much.
More than two million dogs in the UK are overweight. That’s 35% of all the dogs in the country, an increase of around 4% in the last four years.

Pets who are overweight are at risk from serious health issues, just like humans.
The PDSA are now launching their annual pet slimming competition, Pet Fit Club, to help podgy pets get fit. For more information see www.pdsa.org.uk/petfitclub
