British man chraged with stealing rare eggs in Bulgaria

A British man has been arrested in Bulgaria for stealing the eggs of rare birds.

Police had been watching the man for a while, and later discovered rare eggs in his flat.

Some of the eggs came from endangered birds such as vultures.

Collecting bird eggs is illegal in European law because it can damage the bird population.
