A woman working for a charity in Afghanistan has been shot dead along with nine other people.
Karen Woo had given up a job in Britain to work for the International Assisstance Mission. The charity provided healthcare for people living in villages in remote areas of northeast Afghanistan.
Afghan police think the ten killed were victims of an armed robbery. They had been travelling together in three vehicles. One of the drivers has been arrested.
The other people killed alongside Karen Woo were six Americans, a German and two Afghan interpreters.
