Sahil Saeed

British boy kidnapped in Pakistan

Stay tuned to Firstnews.co.uk for the breaking news of the kidnapping of Sahil Saeed

Five-year-old Sahil Saeed was with his dad visiting relatives when he was snatched. Armed robbers broke into his grandmother’s house in Jhelum and took him. Then they demanded a ransom of £100,000 for his return. Sahil was about to set off for the airport to fly home to the UK.

Sahil’s mother, Akila, spoke at her home in Oldham, desperately waiting for good news. She said: “It’s just a nightmare. I’m not sleeping at all. All we can do is just pray for him.”

Akila sent this message to the kidnappers: “Please give our son back and we will forgive you. I will forgive you. God will forgive you. All I want is the safety of my son.”

As First News went to press several people had been arrested and police believed they were getting very close to catching the kidnappers.
