Birds are poisoned
HUMAN activity is putting rare birds of prey at risk in Scotland.
Figures released by the the RSPB show that a record number of birds of prey were poisoned last year. The deaths were all illegal.
Golden eagles, sea eagles, red kites and buzzards were some of the 46 birds killed in 2009.
Campaigners want stricter laws put into place to stop farmers and landowners from putting poison down which could potentially kill birds of prey.

They shouldn't do that really. There are other ways to scare birds off without injuring them or even going as far as to kill them! Use empty plastic bottles on sticks and put them in the ground, or hang normal CDs up, birds don't like that. But don't put down poison!
