Beyoncé is pregnant with her first child

American singer, Beyoncé Knowles, is pregnant with her first child.

The American superstar has revealed that her and her husband, rapper Jay-Z, are expecting their first child together.

The former Destiny's Child star made the announcement at the MTV Video Music Awards, over the weekend.

After performing her new single Love on Top at the VMA's, Beyoncé undid her jacket and rubbed her stomach. As the crowd cheered, she said: "I want you to feel the love that's growing inside me!"

Reportedly, the baby is due February of next year. 

Congratulations Beyoncé and Jay-Z!
