Baby pygmy elephant rescued from a moat
A baby pygmy elephant has been rescued from a deep moat in Borneo.
The young elephant, who is only a few weeks old, was found stuck in the moat and abandoned by its mother.
It was rescued by wildlife officials, who have been treating the baby for cuts and bruises and severe dehydration.
The rescue is being dubbed a Chinese New Year miracle, as there are only 2,000 pygmy elephants left in the wild.
The baby will be given round-the-clock care over the next few days as vets try to nurse it back to health.
