At least 10 dead as protest continues in Cairo

Egyptian police and soldiers have been trying to clear protesters from Cairo's Tahrir Square Tuesday

The rioters have been rioting for five days now.

More than 10 people are dead and a world-famous historic library has been damaged and rare books destroyed.

People have been shocked at the violence from the riots; a 15-year-old boy was shot and a photo of an Egyptian woman being beaten has hit the news.

The protestors were rioting because they do not think that the military are running the country very well. They were supposed to be helping Egypt to change to a democracy after their dictator President Hosni Mubarak stepped down after 30 years in power.

After Mubarak stepped down Egypt was told that the armed forces would be in charge of the country for the next six months before elections are held to find a new leader.
