In a recent interview with First News Disney star Ashley Tisdale said that she felt her character, Sharpay Evans, had the wrong ended in the High School Musical finale. 

When asked why she decided to play Sharpay again in her new spin-off film, Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure, Ashley said: "To be honest, for me, I don’t think Sharpay had the right ending in High School Musical 3. She ended up staying behind and helping Miss Darbus in the theatre department and I just thought she belonged on Broadway."

The actress continued by saying that she felt she owed it to her fans to give Sharpay the ending she deserved.
