The Indian army distribute food to children after a 6.9-magnitude earthquake hit Nepal.

Army uses explosives to rescue survivors after 6.9 magnitude earthquake hits Nepal

Soldiers and rescue teams used dynamite to try to clear blocked roads, caused by the earthquake, in the Himalayan mountains of Nepal.

Because the Himalayan mountains are so remote, many people have been cut off from the rest of the world, and can't be reached by rescue workers.

Indian army helicopters have dropped off food and aid packages to the most remote villages.

81 people have died in the earthquake which shook Nepal, India and China. There have been five aftershocks since Sunday, the worst of which was magnitude 5.3.
