An X Factor recap: the 2nd live show

Missed the second X Factor live show? Rockgirl fills in all the gaps for us!

Kicking off the show in style was rocker Storm Lee. The theme was Hero’s so storm sung born to run. Simon said that he feared that Storm was turning into Louis’ version of a Rock Star.

Next was Treyc Cohen, Cheryl’s Wild Card. She sung her song brilliantly and Louis said that he thought she was an excellent Wild Card choice for Cheryl.

Then it was Danni’s Paije Richardson who had great comments.

Next was One Direction who had been formed at Boot Camp when they were told they were too good to let go of. One Direction pulled off a great performance.

Then it was Cheryl’s Cher Lloyd who sung a song out of the film Annie.

John Adeleye performed a emotional song for him and all of the judges gave John great comments.

Next was Diva fever who were alright. Danni said that that song was on her Christmas play list.

Then it was Cheryl’s Rebecca Ferguson. Rebecca’s performance was great! She had on some very dark purple lipstick!

Aiden Grimshaw impressed the judges with his voice as well.

Then it was Wagner. Cheryl said she loved it and Simon said embrace the madness!

Next was Katie Waissel who last week was in the bottom three. But she paid off for last week and did great.

Belle Amie was next. Bell Amie had on some weird eye make up but they sung quite well.

Next was Mary Byrne who sung well and Louis and the other judges were impressed.

Last but not least was Danni’s Matt. Matt ended the show perfectly.

Then it was the results show were two acts were eliminated.

First up X Factor welcomed back Diana Vickers who was in last years show. Diana sung one of her songs that she has recently released.

Then X Factor welcomed back Katie Perry from when she stepped in for Danni. Katie Perry also sung one of her new songs.

Then Dermot announced who was going through and who was in the bottom three.

The Bottom three were Storm, Diva fever, and Belle Amie.

Storm had the lowest votes so he was automatically out.

Then Diva Fever and Belle Amie had to sing again.

Louis chose to back up Belle Amie, and so did Cheryl and Danni.

Sadly, that meant that Belle Amie was in a Diva fever was out with Storm.

I loved this week on the X Factor and I can’t wait until next week!

What a show this week! We watched two more contestants leave the show and we also watched them get through their second live show!

It seemed that Cheryl had followed in Storm Lee's footsteps by dying her hair red! Storm Lee was up in the dreaded first slot and it was a surprisingly bad performance from the usually good rock fan. Dannii still seemed to like it but Cheryl (like me) wasn't so sure.

Treyc followed this performance and brightened things up, giving the best vocal performance of the night for the second week running. She really deserves her place in the competition. She sang 'Purple Rain' and as usual she was fantastic! Wow!! She got some amazing comments from the judges.

Dannii's category is next with Paije. He was fairly good. He always seems so cheerful! One Direction were next and they were quite good. Louis (once again) took this opportunity to be rude. After this, Cher sang. She wasn't very good as usual. She attempted to combine dramatic and cool songs but she wasn't good. She sang a song from Annie and then started rapping which wasn't really appropriate for the song and it didn't sound very good.

John Adeleye was good at least, but it was dull! Diva Fever now! They were good again but the backing singers were too loud and drowned them out...

Rebecca was after them but it's the same old problems. Bad vocals and shy gestures. It was quite weak.

Aiden got some bad comments this week because he was, once again, too dramatic and he seems too serious about music! It wasn't a good performance.

At least Wanger brightened things up! I find it odd though, that Louis continues to call Wagner WAGNER instead of VAGNER. You'd think he could say the name of his own act! Wagner was funny, but it wasn't good. Itwas so brilliantly hilarious! It's be great if he won! Katie wasn't that good unfortunately and the performance was boring.

I liked Belle Amie! They were cool and current, but there was a wardrobe malfunction, or so it seemed! It seemed that the girl in white's top snapped at the side because she started leaving her arms down by her side and held it up! What a shame!

Mary Byrne made up for it. She was good as always. However, Matt Cardle was in a different league to those other than Treyc tonight! Matt was last and he was really good! He really hit that High C Note. What a show!

But who will go out? The unfortunate truth is that Storm, Diva Fever and Belle Amie were in the bottom three. Rock star Storm Lee went out immediately as he received the least amount of public votes. Then, Belle Amie and Diva Fever (poor Simon!) were head to head in a sing off. Diva Fever were great. You could tell that they wee a bit upset and a bit nervous, but they were the better group. They came on like real professionals and actually used the stage. I would have put them through!

Belle Amie stood in one spot and looked scared and nervous the whole time. Honestly, they were not like professionals at all, and they started hugging during their performance, which wasn't so good. Sadly, Diva Fever were voted out by Cheryl, Dannii and Louis. Simon refused to give his vote when he found out Diva Fever were out. He said it wasn't really fair to Dermot. I think he would have put it to deadlock if it was a two vote situation on both sides. Oh well! More X Factor next Saturday! Who will reign triumphant? And who will say goodbye to their dreams?
