Adele's 21 is the best selling album this century

Congratulations Adele! Her album, 21, is the best selling album of the 21st century, in the UK.

The British singer's second album, 21, has been revealed as the most successful selling album of the 21st century (2000 - present). 

According to the Official Chart Company, 21 has sold around 3.4 million copies in the UK.

Adele wrote on her website: "This has been the best year as it is but to end 2011 with this incredible achievement and honour is beyond anything I can express."
