A Panda is learning to speak Chinese!

Meilan, a panda born in America has flown to her new home in China, with male cub Tai Shan, where she will have to take language lessons.


The cute creatures arrived in Chengdu, China, by Fed Ex on a special plane dubbed the Panda Express and the zoo is already looking for an English-Chinese translator to help Mei Lan understand her new keepers.

However she’s not leaving everything behind. Mei Lan was allowed to take over her favourite American biscuits.
