26,000 people win on the lottery after using numbers from a TV show

26,000 Americans won money on the lottery after using numbers which they saw on TV show Lost.

26,000 TV fans won $150 on the the US Mega Millions lottery by using lottery numbers featured on a popular TV show called Lost.

In the TV show Lost the numbers 4,8,15,16.23 and 42 won charachter Hugo 'Hurley' Reyes $114m.

The real-life lottery numbers were 4, 8, 15, 25, 47 and 42, just two numbers different from the real-life winners, and spookily, came out in the same order. 

In the show, the numbers are seen through out the show - even written on the walls of a cave - and bring bad luck.
