It was pretty wet alright. Luckily although where I live is very flat, there are dykes everywhere so water has a place to drain to. It does seem funny that other higher areas get flooded and where I live, where everything is flat as flat can be, we hardly get flooded at all! Perhaps other places need more dykes...
