2,000 swans arrive early at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust
2,000 swans have arrived early at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) Martin Mere Centre due to the recent cold weather.
The swans had been staying in Scotland because the unseasonably warm weather meant it wasn't too cold for them.
However, due to the winds and sudden cold snap, most of the swans decided to move down south the England where it is warmer.
The swans will spend the rest of the winter at Martin Mere centre then will begin their migration back to Iceland in March, where they will spend the summer.
