100 orphaned baby seals being cared for at seal nursery
More than 100 baby seals, who have been orphaned, are being cared for at a seal nursery in Holland.
The baby seals were separated from their mothers because of bad storms and washed up on Dutch beaches. Some of them are so young, they still had their umbilical cords attached.
The pups are being cared for at a seal nursery near the city of Groningen.
Special tanks and baths have been set up for them and they are being fed herring, re-hydration salts and water to help them recover.
A volunteer at the seal nursery said the pups were getting better, but missing their mothers.
