Zohaib Ahmed is the youngest person to be awarded an A* for an A-level paper.

10-year-old gets A*

A ten-year-old boy has achieved an A* grade in his maths A-level.

Zohaib Ahmed is the youngest person to be awarded an A* for an A-level paper.

He was only nine years old when he first

sat a maths A-level exam, and scored an A grade last year. Plus Zohaib was also awarded a top grade when he sat a further maths paper in March.

Wajih, Zohaib’s 11-year-old brother, is also gifted at maths – he scored 96% in his further maths A-level exam last year.

Zohaib currently goes to Knightwood Primary School in Hampshire but may not spend much time at secondary school. His mum says: “Zohaib wants to go to university as soon as possible. The plan is for him to go at 14.”

    What is the difference from A+ and A* and why does he not go to high school that kid is sad he might not have friends. If he got A+ and goes to high school then I would really want to be friends with him because I love maths.
