School pupils given hair dye colour charts

Pupils at a school in Essex have been given a colour chart to show them which colours they can dye their hair.

The pupils at Harwich and Dovercourt High School, Essex were given the colour charts after pupils were suspended after dying their hair 'unnatural' colours.

Pupils had complained it was hard to tell which shades of colour would be punished. For example, pupils were allowed to dye their hair the same shade of red as Nicole Kidman, but not bright red like Rihanna.
