Butterflies released to remember earthquake victims

Children in Christchurch New Zealand released 185 butterflies to represent the 185 people who lost their lives in the February 22 earthquake last year.

The remembrance service was held in Hagley Park in Christchurch on February 22, one year after a 6.3 quake hit New Zealand's second largest city.

New Zealanders marked the first anniversary of the Christchurch earthquake, with Prime Minister John Key describing the disaster that claimed 185 lives as 'one of our darkest days'.
