Amazing water-propelled jetpack!
This amazing water-propelled jetpack has the power to lift you nine metres (30ft) in the air.
The Jetlev R200 works by sucking in water through a long hose, then shooting it back out at high speed.
Instructor Dean O’Malley demonstrated the jetpack at Newport Beach in California. He said: “This is actually fairly light, so it doesn’t take much pressure to get you into the air.”
The jetpack doesn’t just give you the power to take off, though. It also allows users to hover on the surface of the water.
It may be a while before jetpack power is available to everyone. The pack costs £60,000 to buy and £150 per day to rent. We could be tempted to save our pennies at First News though – travelling by jetpack looks like great fun!
