Fastest time to wrap a person in newspaper

This week more than 300,000 people from around the world are taking part in record-breaking events for the seventh annual Guinness World Records Day, which commemorates the day in 2004 when Guinness World Records became the world's best-selling copyright book.

Records already confirmed include the largest cream tea party, largest gathering of people dressed as leprechauns and the fastest time to wrap a person in newspaper... which First News now proudly holds the record for!

Seven members of the team managed to wrap First News' Kelly (below) from neck to toe in copies of First News in 1 minute and 31 seconds, beating the previous record of 1 minute and 43 seconds.

Did you know that First News holds two other Guinness World Records? We also hold the record for the world's smallest newspaper and the fastest time to type the alphabet on the iPad... And we're not stopping there!
