Man finds snake in cash machine

A man in Spain received the shock of his life when he went to take money out of a cash machine and it came with a snake!

His 8am stop at the Caja Madrid bank in Llodio, Alava, gave him quite a fright when the snake slithered out of the cash compartment. He still managed to grab his money, even though the snake tried to attack him.

The police were called to deal with the unusual situation and found that the snake was actually trapped inside the machine and had to be freed carefully. Luckily, the snake was removed without any harm to it or the bank manager, and was taken to a shelter.

The police are not treating the incident as suspicious. They think the snake got into the machine by itself while looking for somewhere cosy to spend the night!
