Bionic exoskeleton launched

A new machine that helps wheelchair users to stand and walk has been launched.

The bionic exoskeleton is a wearable, battery-powered, robotic device which helps wheelchair users and people who have suffered from spinal chord injuries to stand and walk. 

This means that they will be able to do things like reach tall shelves or look people in the eye.
