Phineas & Ferb animation masterclass

In June 2010, Disney XD UK launched the Aim High initiative, www.disneyxd.co.uk/aimhigh, a mentorship based scheme designed to inspire a generation of kids to get the most out of life, try new things and be the best they can be.

Disney XD enlisted the help of Dan and Swampy, top Disney XD animators and co-creators of Phineas and Ferb, to act as mentors and give lucky winners a unique insight into their fascinating career. The masterclass involved a talk from Dan and Swampy, a demonstration of a storyboard pitch, a drawing demo and a winners challenge to draw their favourite Phineas and Ferb characters.

The hugely successful Disney XD’s Aim High scheme offers fans the chance to win a ‘once in a lifetime’ experience with talented and dedicated professionals – this year’s exciting line up has also included; international R&B sensation Jay Sean, Chelsea and England U21 football ace, Daniel Sturridge, Leicester Tigers and England rugby hero Toby Flood.
