First News meets the cast of Lemonade Mouth

Lemonade Mouth, Disney Channel’s smash-hit original movie about five teens who break through to become the voice of their generation, will be making an impact on British television screens this autumn, following its huge ratings success in the U.S.

Starring British actress, Naomi Scott (of Disney Channel UK’s Life Bites), together with an outstanding ensemble cast headed by Bridgit Mendler (Good Luck Charlie) and Adam Hicks (Zeke And Luther), Lemonade Mouth is an empowering Disney Channel Original Movie packed with music and memorable songs.

The movie tells the story of five teenagers who are profoundly changed when a music teacher motivates them to throw "what-ifs" out the window, pursue their true passion, form a band and ultimately, seize the opportunity to express their unique selves – despite lack of support from the school administration.

Since Lemonade Mouth premiered on Disney Channel U.S. on April 15th, the movie has reached over 13 million viewers and ranks as 2011’s U.S.’s number one cable TV original movie .
