Mayor crushes illegally parked car with tank

The mayor of Vilnius in Lithuania has pledged that illegally parked cars will face being driven over by a tank, in a video.

And it seems he's a man of his word: a video surfaced this morning of the mayor flattening an illegally parked Mercedes with a huge tank! The video showed the car's owner returning to his vehicle just as the mayor had finished driving over his car. The mayor then shook the owner's hand and told him to park legally next time.

However, it seems the whole video was staged! The mayor reportedly made the film to let illegal parkers know that he was sick of the problem.

As the film was staged, illegal parkers in Vilnius will luckily not face the wrath of a giant tank if caught, but they will, however, be fined.
