Top tips to save water in the summer

l. Wash your bike with a bucket rather than the hose.

2. Take a four minute shower instead of a bath (keep it cool for real refreshment)

3. Rinse salad and veg in a few inches of water in the sink rather than under a running tap.

4. Water plants and veggies with a watering can instead of the hose.

5. Keep a bottle or jug of water in the fridge so you have instant cold drinks instead of running the tap for cold water.

6. Instead of getting the hose out for a water fight, fill balloons and chuck those around instead – you’ll use less water while still soaking your mates!

7. Turn off the tap when you brush your teeth (okay, it’s not a summery tip but still an important one!).
