TO celebrate episode three of FirstTV here’s the second part of our interview with star blogger and FirstTV presenter, Charlie McDonnell…

What is the best thing about being a famous blogger?
One of the worst things is having people call me “famous”, I definitely don’t feel famous! One of the best things about having a following is, well, the following! I’m recognised in the street sometimes by people who’ve seen something of mine, and they’re always really lovely.
What have been your favourite challenges from your blog followers?
A couple of favourites probably include writing a song without any instruments (just using my voice and items that I could find in my house) and learning to juggle! It’s a useless skill, but the useless things are the bits that make life worth living, they’re the extra.
Which challenges would you not be able to do?
Anything involving moths would set me off, I have a phobia of them. Also, I get a lot of people suggesting that I dress up like a woman. I don’t know why people think that this is ever going to happen.
If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
My friends tend to think that I’d make a good meerkat, and I tend to aggree with them. I even have a stuffed meerkat in my bedroom, they’re just quite inquisitive!
What were you like when you were at school?
I was very shy, especially in primary school, but hardworking too. My favourite subject was always art, it was the only time where large amounts of work didn’t really feel like work at all, they were just a pleasure.
Were you ever in a school play?
I was indeed, it was a play about school in which I was the hyprocritical teacher, who told kids to turn off their mobile phones while he chatted away on his own. It was a fun role to play from what I remember, I wonder if I still have the tape?
Do you have any hidden talents or party tricks?
I can move my hair like it’s a wig, without even touching it! If you’ve been watching you might have seen me do that on the show. It’s not a very useful skill though!
Name three things you can’t live without?
My computer, my bed, and ginger beer! Mmm…
 Do you believe in aliens?
Given the immense size of the universe, it’d be silly to say that there isn’t life out there somewhere. It’s probably very, very far away from us though, especially intelligent life.
Have you ever had a paranormal experience?
Nope! Every time I have a bit of an odd experience, something that I can’t explain right off the bat, a bit of thinking is all it takes to make sense of it. I don’t tend to believe in that kind of stuff.
This week, check out Charlie playing a very funny song on a ukelele. Only online at www.firsttv.tv
