Shake it Up stars Zendaya (CeCe) and Bella (Rocky) tell us all the behind the scenes gossip from their hit Disney Channel show!

So girls, how did you feel when you were first cast for Shake It Up?

Zendaya: I couldn’t speak. My dad looked at me like I was crazy but I had nothing to say – it was one of those speechless moments. My mind went blank and I was so struck with all these emotions, from super excited to nervous. Everything was going through my mind.

Bella: My mum always likes to play mean tricks on me! She was like: “Bella, your manager needs to talk to you about

Shake It Up,” and it was said like I got rejected! I called my agent and he was stalling, then he finally told me I got the part! I was screaming and jumping up and down with joy. I was so excited.

We’ve seen you on screen but what’s it really like working on set?

Both: So much fun!

Bella: We like to keep everyone on their toes! We joke around with Adam who plays Deuce, all the time. It’s fun to wind him up.

We hear you two have got a secret handshake – what’s the story behind it?

Zendaya: Our handshake is a combination of all our private jokes. It can be quite embarrassing and takes about 30 minutes to perform. Do you want to hear our manicure song?

Both: Oh my gosh, I think I need a manicure, the sun I swear is bleaching out my perfect hair, 26, 24 take a look at the score, go, go fight, fight, gee I hope I look all right!
