Ronan Parke gives us the lowdown on his debut album and BGT!

What can we expect from your debut album?

It includes my first single, A Thousand Miles, and a song written by Gary Barlow called Stronger Than I Am. There’s a range of different songs on the album. Hopefully everyone will really like it!

What are your memories from your first audition on Britain’s Got Talent?

It was crazy. I was really nervous before I went on stage because I could just hear people getting buzzed and crying on stage. But you know, I just went on, sang, and the reaction was amazing.

The judges loved you!

You dream of getting a reaction like that and when you actually get it, it’s just such a good feeling!

What was it like to sing in front of Simon Cowell?

Yeah, that was scary. I remember coming on stage just before I was about to perform on one of the live shows and Simon gave me his famous Simon Cowell wink, so that made me happy!

Were you upset about not winning?

I didn’t even expect to get in the top three! Just getting in the semi-final was a dream come true for me, so I was really happy coming second. Obviously I was a bit disappointed – when you get so close – but I was really happy for Jai, who won.
