Did the addition of the new wolves Leah Clearwater (Julia Jones) and Seth Clearwater (Booboo Stewart) change the dynamic of the pack?

“We had to be a little nicer to Julia Jones because she’s a woman! But she just jumped right in there and has a good time. Booboo Stewart - he’s just fun, fun, fun, fun!

“In the film, I think the addition of the two new characters shows that the wolf pack is evolving; it’s affecting our people younger and it’s changing genders.”

There’s a lot more action in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. How did you prepare for the role?

"We did what's now called 'Wolf Camp'. We did muscle confusion, it's confusing actually! It's like circuit training. It helped to bond us, we got really comfortable around each other.

Did you enjoy filming Twilight Saga: Eclipse?

"There are scenes where we’re goofing off and wecouldn't tell when the camera started or when they yelled 'cut', so we were always having a good time. It was a fun experience.”

Which scenes were the trickiest to film?

“The campfire scene was a nightmare to film! We call it ‘Black Friday’. It was supposed to be a warm summer’s night, where we were all relaxing around the campfire without our shirts on and sharing the tribe’s history. In reality, it was pouring with rain. We were underneath a canvas canopy to keep us dry, freezing to death, and the rain was pooling in a bulge in the middle. Then someone tips it and it just goes bang on top of me and I’m soaked to the skin! I wasn’t sure if I was more upset because it was freezing water or because my abs washed off!”

Why do you think that the Twilight Saga has been so popular?

“Even though it has elements of fantasy with werewolves, vampires and shapshifters, there’s a love story at the root of it.

“People can relate to the emotions: jealousy, revenge, hate, love, loyalty, and having to make choices.  While it’s a fantasy, at the end of the day it’s grounded in reality."
