Celebrities share their 'back to school' advice
Going back to school can be quite a scary time of year! You have to get used to a new class, a new teacher, and sometimes make new friends. So, we thought it would be nice to ask some our favourite celebrities for their advice on starting a new school year to reassure anyone out there worrying...
Rochelle from The Saturdays

“I used to get really nervous about going back to school, but you’ve just got to remember to enjoy it. Just remember while you’re young and at school you’re supposed to be having a good time and not worrying!”
Dappy from N-Dubz

“If you’ve left school and you haven’t got a qualification in English or Maths, you’re not going to be able to talk to people, communicate and negotiate your deals. Without that, how can you succeed? English, maths, science, history… school… you need it in life.”
Chipmunk

“Do it for yourself, don’t do it for your teachers. You’re going to need it for that job one day, so do it for yourself.”
Nathan from The Wanted

“Don’t be sad about the start of a new school year, school’s wicked! You get to go there and make loads of new mates! Also, if you see someone at school who’s not sat with anyone, go and speak to them, go and make them feel welcome!”
T4 presenter Georgie Okell

“For starters, I used to love getting new stationery! The start of a new school year was also fun because I found myself making new friends, I joined new clubs, I got new teachers, and I learnt new things. Just be ready to enjoy it!”
The Sugababes

“Don’t be afraid to go and introduce yourself to someone and don’t try and act different, just be yourself. Remember that everyone else is in the same boat – they’re all nervous about starting a new class as well!”
Michelle Keegan

“Just look forward to Christmas! Remember, you’ll be off in two months!”
Nicola Roberts

"It’s a tough one because everybody’s different. Everyone has different levels of confidence. There’s a lot of pressure put on kids. I think they feel that if they’re not part of the in-crowd it’s the end of the world! Just be who you are and find some nice friends who are going to be your friends for the right reasons."
Britain's Got Talent's Ronan Parke

"My back to school tip is be yourself, believe in yourself and don't let anyone tell you different!"

Always be yourself at school, don't try and pretend to be something your not, just because you think it will make someone like you more.

Schools the best! I always look forward to going back to school after a boring old school holiday! Going on the bus there and back is always the best part of it.
