WIN a free week's holiday in Normandy for a First News junior reporter and family this Whitsun! The Normandy Tourist Board is giving you the chance to win a free return ferry crossing with Brittany Ferries, plus a full week’s self-catering with free fun days out for all the family!

Hop across the Channel to France

Enjoy a free week’s break in Normandy, the ideal family destination at a traditional holiday cottage, the Chèvrerie, set in the rolling countryside of the Pays d’Auge. Your French hosts Valérie, Fabien and their daughter, Léa, will be there to welcome you all to their estate with its own animal park and heated swimming pool. Children will have the space and freedom to roam and have fun outdoors whilst their parents put their feet up and relax with a drink.

Discover the sights

The Chèvrerie is in a great position to visit the local sites of interest like the D-Day beaches and the Mémorial museum in Caen. William the Conqueror’s birthplace at the Château of Falaise and Cerza Safari Park are just a short drive away, and why not take time to visit the Bayeux Tapestry too, a must-see for all the family? And you’ll be spoilt for choice of great beaches and fishing villages for seaside fun and ice cream treats.

Set sail on the sea

The prize includes a free return sailing with Brittany Ferries for your family car, two adults and up to three children to the Normandy ports of Caen, Cherbourg or Le Havre from Portsmouth or Poole. And your holiday starts on board the ferry where you can enjoy a wide choice of places to eat, lounges, kids’ play areas, cinemas, on-board entertainment and shopping. You will arrive in Normandy refreshed and in great shape all set to enjoy your week’s holiday.
Free family passes to visit the local sites of interest will be included in the prize: all part of this first press trip for the budding First News junior reporter who will then report back in a later edition of their favourite paper on their fun time and experiences in Normandy.
