BRIT Class Act is our exciting new music competition for school students. We are searching for the UK's best school music act and the winner will receive a very special BRIT Class Act Award.

We begin our the search this September. It doesn’t matter what sort of music you play; if it’s pop, punk or metal, whether you’re in a band or a solo performer, we want to hear you!

Entering the competition is easy; once you’ve recorded your song all you need to do is head to www.britclassact.co.uk and enter your track into our national schools’ chart. Each week a new chart will be announced and the Number 1 school music act announced. At the end of the winter term, the best tracks will go forward to be judged by a special BRIT judging panel, who whittle the entries down to a final shortlist. These chosen tracks will then face a public vote. By January 2011, with the votes in, counted and verified, the winners of BRIT Class Act will be announced and presented with an amazing BRIT Class Act Award.

There’s never been a music competition like it! We’re so excited about all the musical talent we’re going to uncover - we know you're out there!
