  What may have happened: Kid: My teacher puts kisses on my work because she loves me! I'd better do something for her! The next day... Kid: Teacher, will you marry me? Teacher (astounded): Why? Kid: Because you love me! Teacher: I do not love you! I HATE YOU! Kid (sad): But why do you hate me? Teacher (annoyed): Because your work is of poor quality, that's why! Kid (bawling his eyes out): I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME! WHY DID YOU TEASE ME WITH THOSE KISSES ON MY WORK?! Teacher: K-kisses? Kid (calmed down a little bit): Yes. (sniff) YOU PUT THOSE KISSES (sniff) ON MY WORK!!! Teacher (angry): Why would I put kisses on a piece of work as bad as yours? Kid: BECAUSE YOU LOVE ME! The teacher realises what the kid is talking about, and says... Teacher (livid): OMG, YOU THOUGHT THOSE CROSSES WERE KISSES? GET OUT OF MY CLASSROOM! [Class laughs] [Kid tramps out, holding the expensive ring in his hand] Teacher (to the rest of the class): If you think I love you, I DON'T! This class is the worst in the school, even with my teaching! [The 'teacher's pet', Mirran Wilson, begins to cry] Teacher: Now, if you will excuse me, I'm going on strike so I do not have to teach you. [Teacher walks out of the classroom. Madness descends] Just remember: If pre-school teachers think an answer is wrong, put the word 'wrong' down to prevent confusion. If teachers forget this, please could pupils remember that a cross does not mean love in academic situations. Thank you. :P
