What is your favourite book?

So I just want to know what YOUR favourite book is and why? Also would you recommend it? By the way it can be a series, short story, etc.
I'm wiz_girl. My favourite book is the Harry Potter series. I like it because it's magical, imaginative, thrilling,exciting and also it opens a whole new world! I would recommend this book because it teaches you many things. The main thing I learnt what Harry Potter is about is: Confronting fears,finding inner strength and doing what is right from in the face of adversity!
So now you've heard about my favourite book. Now I want to hear about yours! :)

My favouirite series are the twilight Saga and the princess diaries.Favourite book is probably My Sister Jodie by Jacqueline Wilson. i have loads more but just chose .

You probably haven't heard of the scout books. They are about a dog called Scout and his owner during WW2 in Holland. They sound really boring but they are sooo exciting.

I Love a lot of books, and liked a lot of them. But for my fave it's a tossup between Percy Jackson and Heroes of Olympus: The lost Hero. Both by Rick Riordan!

1. i agree twilight sucks! 2. i would recomend the House of Night series by P.C and Kristen Cast. its is about vamps but is not like twilight (not subtible for younger readers! bad language!)

I like Girl Missing, Fzzpop! I also like Harry Potter, the Twilight Saga, CHERUB, Alex Rider, Noughts And Crosses, the GONE series by Michael Grant (great if you like sci-fi/thriller stories) I have read some of the House Of Night novels but I didn't find them that interesting. I have read Percy Jackson but to be honest it's not that good (although it did teach me a lot about Greek mythology, which comes in useful for crosswords!) Wiz_girl, the CHERUB series is written by Robert Muchamore. There are loads of CHERUB books and I'd recommend them to anyone 12+. They're great for Alex Rider fans!

Wiz_girl and cateXxX, Twilight may not be the best book series in the world but it's not as bad as you think it is. If you're both big fans of Harry Potter like I am, nothing can possibly compete. I don't dislike any book very strongly, because I enjoy reading! Although Twilight is a bit overrated though...

Fzzpop, GONE is one of my favourite ever books! I have read up to PLAGUE! Can't wait for 2012 - that's when the next one's coming out!

Oh so hard to choose but it has to be the rover adventures they are a mix of 3 rover books which are the giggler treatment hilarious rover saves Christmas, even more hilarious and the meanwhile adventures, so hilarious together you will probably pop( just kidding) recommended for all ages.I was glued to them and read it in less than a week.
