I LOVE Michael Morpurgo. He is great! My favourite book os his is Private Peaceful! it is AMAZING! I loved it! have you read it? If yes then BE HONEST! did you cry like me? I cried at the end! Have you read any more books? If yes could you tell me what happened?

    Hi! I haven't read private peaceful yet but I like war horse and adolphus tips. I agree he is a wonderful kids author. :)

    ive read cool! and its about a boy who goes walking his dog and gets hit by a car and he is in hospital for months with no memory, sight or speech. but he is alright at the end. sorry, i havent read that book :)

    I've read read it to it is really really good!!! It did also make me cry at the end!!! Michael Morpurgo IS MY FAVOURITE AUTHOR at the moment!!!

    I read two books- The Last Wolf (which I can't remember) and Why the Whales Came... when Gracie and Daniel are best friends, the meet the Birdman, who everyone says is crazy but is actually nice and they have real adventures- you should try it! :) :) :)

    I've read Private Peaceful, Kensuke's Kingdom, Arthur: High King of Britain and Why the Whales Came. I think I've read some other books by him but I can't remember what they're called. They are all excellent books but sad in parts, Private Peaceful is especially sad. :( :)

    I haven't read Private Peaceful. I really want to read War Horse. I've read Alophus Tips, Running Wild, Little Foxes, The 9 lives of Montezuma and I am currently reading Born To Run. It's soo sad! I nearly cried.

    I've read (from favourite to least favourite) Born To Run, Why the Whales Came, Alone on a Wide, Wide Sea, Cool, Kensuke's Kingdom, Shadow, The White Horse of Zennor and Other Stories, Wombat goes Walkabout and Mudpuddle Farm. I LOVE them all!!!!

    hello gummybear! yes i did see michael morpurgo on a writing course and he is really funny he taught us how to write well and he told us what ideas inspired his books. he read us Little Manfred a few days before it was released and he told us how he wrote it and what gave him the ideas. it was amazing! he is a great writer and I agree with you HelloWorld, private peaceful is my favourite book by far!

    I've read Private Peaceful, the Dancing Bear, Kensukes Kingdom and Born to Run. Born to Run was definitely the best :D

    i met him he was really nice and he said that the book he signed he hadn't seen in years its one he wrote about a wombat and he was really happy to see it again :)

    Some of his books I think are a little depressing and boring in parts, but lots are really good. My personal favourite is Kensuke's Kingdom, about a boy who is shipwrecked on an island, then finds a Japanese man is also living on the same island and lives with orangutans. My least favourite is probably the Wreck of the Zanzibar.

    Michael Morpurgo is a really good author! I haven't read Private Peacful, but I have read some of his other books and all of them I have read so far have been really good.

    He is definatly by far my fave author!!!! I love his book called Shadow. I wont give much away because you wont wnt to read it if i do. It is about a dog in Afganistahn and a soldier. READ IT!!!! x
