the 500 word story contest

hay guys i was reading the news in FN and i saw 500 word contest so i thought i would write a sory for it and i wanted to see what you guys thought of it so far this is the first half of it so here it is!
Sophie got out of her bed her tail dragging behind her and stretched her arms and legs then walked over to the window, it was a sunny day. and she still could not get used to it since she and her friend Annabel had defeated the once evil ruler of grassy meadow.
She sat back down on her bed nad recalled ellier that summer.
It was the usuall bright sunny day in grassy meadow and sophie got up and had her breckfast all was normal at the start of that day after breckfast she went to her friend Annabel’s house. It was a short walk there so she did not spear any thought to the fact that there may well be birds out the or even wors owls! So she crossed the meadow jumping over an od stick or two when she heard the SNAP! Of a twig behind her. She slowly turned her head to see an enormous Tawny owl and it was looking strait at her. She froze with fear and then she saw another tawny owl come up behind it and say “I think that is the mouse the boss was tellin us about” then the one that was there first spoke “but where is its little friend?”and at that the two owls started too have an argument and had seamed too have forgotten she was there so shopiie ran as fast as her tiny legs would carry her all the way to annabel’s house.
