Sleepovers
By Millz8 (Age 11)
Hi buddies
I was just wondering, do any of you have sleeping or homesick problems.
One of my friends has the 1st and several wth the 2nd.
I was just saying, a really good way to get to sleep ( that I've just discovered) is wriggle your toes, then relax them, then wriggle again (with each individual toe).
Do this with every part of your body ( from little toe to ears) and if you do it slowly and carefully enough, you should gradually fall asleep.
Also, homesick people, don't ring your parents (you feel worse) and just thinkof really happy, positive things.
Hope this helps.

I love sleepovers, but I get really homesick, especially if I haven't brought my teddy, and I tend to wake up at three in the morning crying!

I used to think I couldn't go on any sleepovers, but it turns out I was just scared of one person's house and I was fine any where else!

Cool I will try that! What happens if you cant wiggle your toes seperately? (rhetorical question)

i get a bit home sick at scout camps and cant sleep usually! and miss my lovely bed that you can not get comfortable until you wake up in the morning and have to get up but it is still better than a sleeping bag
