hetty feather

Read this: Hetty Feather by Jacqueline Wilson book review. Reviewed by Charlotte.

A new Jacqueline Wilson book is always a rare treat – and this book is particularly enjoyable thanks to its historical setting of London in the year 1876. The heroine, Hetty Feather, is left at an orphanage by her mum, then stays with a foster family until she joins a travelling circus. But her happy times there are disturbed when she is returned once more to the orphanage, which is only the beginning to a further series of adventures…

If you only read one book this autumn, make it this one, because Hetty Feather is incredibly enjoyable and Jacqueline Wilson’s writing is at her very best!
