Every week we are going to have a Firstnews.co.uk member of the week.

This 'member of the week' will be given five questions about themselves to answer, and everyone else can post questions for them too.

Then, when their week is over, they get to choose the next member of the week. Below are the past members of the week. Follow the links underneath this article to read their questions and answers.

    i have a suggestion about the members of the week, maybe to give another member a chance who have not been the member of the week yet, for the current member of the week to not be allowed to become the member of the week for a couple of weeks, and then the people who were chosen a couple of times will give someone else a chance.

    Well I didn't think it felt normal!! It felt amazing! It's a good role as well because: a) you get a whole article dedicated to you b) you know you've deserved it and c) you feel good about it! Nobody needs to change who they are to be MOTW but just make sure you're nice. Honestly, KatCandy, I think you should have been MOTW by now! And Sweetpea!

    My favourite part about this is the way everyone has different writing for their name (apart from two people…). What writing you get normally depends on which programme I can use the quickest on that day!

    You need to be chosen by whoever is MOTW that week. It could take a while for people to get to know you. Just make sure that you comment on lots of articles and say nice and kind things to people.

    indigowolf, you have to write articles, comment alot and be kind to be MOTW. if you want more info then look on the article 'guide to be MOTW' by CandyEllz and that will tell you more! Oh, and the person who was MOTW before you has to choose someone else to be MOTW. :)

    Kicky105, I think you're a great member of fn and you do a lot like the paint club (thanks for making me the idea creator btw) and you write great comments. When I was motw, I tried to comment a lot on EVERYTHING and write lots of articles and vote on lots of polls. I remember last year I was motw ont eh Christmas week and it was brilliant! Maybe you should try for Christmas week? I hope this helps :D And remember to enter motw comps if there are any :)

    rehorse10, i did change my avatar on the my last day of being MOTW (which was the Thursday), i made the article on the Tuesday saying who the next MOTW was but i intended it to be submitted on the Thursday not the Tuesday so I didn't change it until then
