I don't like Twilight, it is sooo overrated. HARRY POTTER IS THE BEST! I'm not comparing the films as I haven't seen any of the Twilight films, but I'm comparing the books and Harry Potter is sooo much better! More imaginative, and I know LOADS of people who don't like Twilight and think it's rubbish, whereas I have only come across about ONE person who didn't like Harry Potter! Harry Potter always gets really good reviews, both of the books and of the films, whereas everyone says, 'Don't read Twilight, it's rubbish!' No offence, but I kind of agree with them! :)

SuperSuze, it isn't overrated because it IS good! Harry Potter books AREN'T better, they aren't ver imaginitive and not very good. I don't like Harry Potter, THAT'S really overrated and I don't see the point of any of the plots. I don't see how Harry Potter is good, although I used to like it. You can't tell people to not read Twilight because you think it's rubbish! Everyone has opinions that count, I know, but it isn't rubbish! Harry Potter is just a bit too unrealistic and I don't think that any of the films really have anything to do with each other. I agree with the people who say Don't Read Harry Potter! Twilight is the best thing ever!! :D

Red, Harry Potter is a fantasy - it is allowed to be implausible! Twilight isn't actually very convincing either if you think about it, vampires don't exist any more than there is an entire other wizarding world!

I can understand that Twilight might be good, I just think that Harry Potter is more imaginative. I think Twilight is OK but I prefer Harry Potter, just because I can totally immerse myself in the plot, whereas I can't do that with Twilight. :)

Lol, I personally think TWILIGHT is more imaginitive! But, I'm getting to the age when I like to read things like that. I can't immerse myself in a Harry Potter plot, but in Twilight, I could sit there for hours reading on end. When I'm going on a sleepover soon, me and my friend are watching all of the Twilight movies in a row! 6 hours of Twilight! :D

Yeah, Minxymoo, R-Patz takes his shirt off in that one and stands on the edge of the building in Volterra! ;) Ask me anything about Twilight and I will answer without hesitation! It isn't too young for adults, I know loads of adults and even little kids who like it, there's only a few scenes that are a bit unsuitable for them, but that's why they have age ratings. Harry Potter isn't as big in my opinion and won't be. Apparently JK Rowling took lots of ideas...? Don't know how true that is though. BUT TWILIGHT IS WAAAAAAAAY BETTER! :D

I've read some of the first Twilight books but I didn't read all of it it because I found it a bit boring (no offense!) I think it might have been because I've read MUCH better writing by other authors and this just didn't live up to the hype. I think lots of people like it just because they want to be like Bella Swan (maybe...) Sorry that's just my opinion maybe I should've read the whole book :)

No offence taken Laurcool, because you haven't said it in a bad or rude way! But, no offence intended to you either, you're wrong about the whole wanting to be Bella Swan thing, it's because the writing is genuinely spectacular. I will say that the end half of the book is more exciting and revealing, that could be why, but the first bit is gripping as well. Maybe you think other authors are better, that's your opinion, however I think Stephenie Meyer is the best author in the business. :)

The Harry Potter books came out WAY before the Twilight books.There's speculations saying J.K.Rowling stole Jacob Black's surname for Sirius Black.How can that even be possible,if Prisoner of Azkabhan came out in 1999.Maybe it's Stephenie Meyer,so don't go judging,before finding out the facts
