Hi it's neemtree again with a review of the iPod touch 4th generation that iGot for Christmas :)

Many people call the iPod touch an iPhone without the phone but I think more importantly it is an iPhone without the contract! Their is fee wifi acces and it keeps networks and recognises them instantly. 

If you are bugged by teachers always telling you to turn your phone off in school then the ipod touch is for you. It is not a phone but is indeed exactly the same as an iPhone, without the phone app! Actually, if you live in America (unlike me) then there is a solution to that I will come onto later.

The app store is really great. There is not a baby version on the iPod touch it is the full thing. You can get loads of great games and apps on it which are often free! They are very useful and include things like Adobe Photoshop for the five megapixel camera. Also good games like Angry Birds, PvZ and Fruit Ninja.

The music is good on the iPod touch and cover flow is beautiful. Unfortunately the sound without headphones isn't as good as the iPhone 4S but still you don't use it so much so that is okay.

New on the 4th generation, there is iMessage, which lets you call and text other apple devices, so if your friends and family have iPhones, iPads or iPod touches this is a great feature. Also if you live in the US you can install iCall, an app that lets you call people over wifi. It sounds good and I wish I could try it but as I said, I don't live in the USA. 

Finally there are the bad things. Firstly, no mic so not great calling on iCall. Also there is bad sound without headphones. Also there is only a five not eight megapixel camera. Finally there is no on the go 3G, there is only wifi. 

But they are only some minor things, and I highly reccomend the iPod touch, especially if you live in America, don't want to get nagged about phones in school or if your friends and family have apple devices.
