What do you think about my story idea?

I need YOUR help!

I've come up with a story and I want to publish it. The trouble is, I want to know if girls around my age would like it. I am afraid I will not write the beginning of the story, but I will write the Prologue, as if I were the main character in the story, Cassandra Tricia Rhubarb. The story is called "It's None of your Show Biz".

Ok, let's face it. I'm fourteen years old, and my life was turned upside down two weeks ago.

See, my dad owns this big record company and gave me a record deal fifteen ago, leaving me with a number one hit single in my lap. The song was called Tears and I did it as a duet with Andrew Bever. The only thing about this guy is that I'm taller than him, even without my heels. 

Back to the point, I suppose you've seen my name in gold on one of those gigantic signs in Hollywood: "Cassandra Rhubarb Forever Fame" or something like that. I assume you've heard the song Tears, and if you haven't, you better look it up on YouTube right now. It's probably got like a hundred million hits-maybe more. The video is enrapturing, and will blow your mind. You better watch out 'cos Cassandra Tricia Rhubarb is on the scene!

Now you know a bit about me, I suggest you either read my story, or download my song from ITunes so you can listen to it on your very own IPod. (Well everyone has an IPod, don't they?!)

So get comfortable in your chair, drink your cup of cocoa and relax. 'Cos it's Lights, Camera, Action...

    WOW!!! That was amazing!!!! :) Best prologue ever and i am serious!!! I loved it!!! I am nearly 10 in january(so around your age) and i loved it!!!

    Yeah, I like it. It's good. I'm a bit older than you but I like books like this.

    Thanks! It is quite a long story (72 pages to be precise) and kizzie I'm afraid that I will not be able to give you the full story if I want to publish it...but you can ask me questions about the book if you want!

    I have you read The Blue door series by Pamela Brown? She wrote the first one when she was 14!

    Here is some advice: if you make your paragraphs longer, it will captivate the reader. They will need be pulled in from the first sentence, so make it dramatic.

    chimpy, here's some advice: give an interesting first sentence, put in a few cliffhangers at the end of chapters, and you'll have a great story.

    Sounds awesome! I love writing too, I might post one of the things I wrote too. Well done! I think if you send it to te publishers when it's done it might even be published!

    It's brilliant apart from a couple of spelling mistakes. If you want to be an athor when you grow up then keep reading books and try to jot ideas down when you can in a notebook so you can refer back to your ideas when writing. A great start to your story! :):):)
