help with general stuff
By Bunnycat (Age 13)
Okay, yeah I know what you're thinking, 'that crazy Bunnycat needs help with her DSi again? I knew she was nuts, but surely a DSi can't be that hard a thing to control???' Well, here I am again, this time with two questions for you technology whizz-kids out there to answer for me.
Well here's the first one. How do ya connect to the Internet??? I have looked on the Nintendo website, followed their instructions, but it doesn't work. Every website I've looked on says something about a 'wireless router' or something, but I haven't a clue what that is. Can anybody help me?
Secondly, do you know any good games that I would like? I have lots of Christmas money left and have also got my birthday coming up soonish, and would quite like some other DS games. I don't like violence at all, so no Call Of Duty or Super Zombie Kill Spree for me thanks. I love my Nintendogs game, but from what I've seen all the other Nintendogs games are pretty much the same except for different dog breeds. Does anyone know of any other good caring games like Nintendogs? I would love one which has cats in, but after looking on Amazon it seems the best of the lot is one called Purr Pals, which some say is good and others say is rubbish. What are your opinions (if you have Purr Pals) and do you know of any other good cat games? I also saw a game advertised in First News ages ago, I'm pretty sure it was Petz Fantasy, the reviewer gave it 10/10. Is it really that good? It looks a bit babyish from the cover but I don't really know. Also I have been looking at the Animal Crossing games which everyone seems to be raving about. It says you can connect to the internet and play with other people, and though I was initially put off by the odd graphics, if I could set up Internet connection especially it sound quite fun. What do you think of it? And if yu know any other good games I would like, please tell. I especially like animal caring games, racing games (particularly if they're like Mario Kart and you can ram people off cliffs, though I might find racing car games a little overly boyish), Mario-type platform games, that sort of thing.
Oh and finally, what's Zoo Tycoon like? I watched my former best friend play the CD rom version when I was about eight, but she spent most of her time making the animals kill each other so I couldn't really tell what it was like. My darling friend Isobel was, well, a 'spirited' child, to put it mildly.
Have fun laughing at my expense,
***Bunnycat***
.P.S. Wolfie, Penny and Tessie say hi! (they are nintendogs by the way)

LOL I will ask you some questions. 1) Do you have your own internet in your house, or do you use one that already exists? If you have your own you should have a wireless router. If not, you should. Go on to settings, choose what connection you want, and it will give you the strength of the cinnection. If it is free, no password necessary. If not, you will need a password. Then wait and it will finally connect. Then go onto shop or internet. It toom forever for me to work it out. That is what I did, hopefully it works for you! :) that was LONG!

The only router it's talking anout (a.k.a will ever work on a DSi) is say, your home broadband connection. Like say, Does your internet work on your computer, and what brand is it? If it's BT-Home-hub, you need the WEP key, which can be found on a special paper card slip (Ask your parents). If it's Sky, you need to go into advanced connections as they support WPA protection.

Thanks geengy, I think that's what I need, unfortunately my parents don't have a clue!!!! I'm pretty sure its BT Home Hub.
