help needed with nintendo wireless

HELP!

For Christmas 2011 I got a Nintendo DSi, and I recently bought Nintendogs Miniature Dachund and friends to go with it.  What I would really like to do is use Bark Mode, but even when I switch the wireless mode on, it just keeps searching and searching with no results until eventually I give up.  I also want to do racing against my brothers on Mario Kart, but I can't seem to do that either.  I thought maybe it had something to do with the internet, so I went onto 'settings' on the DSi menu and tried to do a connection test, but it kept failing.  Can anybody help me???

    Have you made sure that both you and your brothers have their bark mode on and just not one? I did that with my aunt's and it worked if you both went into bark mode. :/

    Sorry- cant help you- GET A REFUND!!!! Any dsi that does not work is a rubbish bit of plastic. get a refund rather than fixing it- costs lesss money and A LOT EASIER!! my opinion posted!! good luck!;)

    on Bark Mode you have to have someone within 10metres to meet them on Bark Mode so if you didn't have anyone nearby then it wouldn't have worked. hope it helps :)

    Its because you need another person right next to you playing a Nintendogs game! So if any of your friends have it then you can play with them. Once you have someone you both have to click on bark mode at the same time! I did bark mode with my sister and all it is is the dogs meet up and exchange gifts! :) I play against my sisters alllll the time in mario kart!! So this is what you do. If only one of you have the game then you can go on to the mario kart menu then click on "Multiplayer" Then click on "create group" then click on "Simple" which means that you can compete with people who don't have mario kart (your brothers)so after you click that. Both of your brothers turn their Ds's on and click on "Ds download Play". After a while they should pop up on your screen so there are 3 people in total. Then press "Cut off" So that means you are done receiving players. But if all 3 of you have a Mario kart game. Your brothers can still click on all the steps I said. But for you,when I said click on "simple" which means the other players don't have the game well now you can click on "Normal" because you all have the game. Then follow the other usual steps. Sorry for it being soooooooooo long! I just really wanted to help!! :) Goodluck. Let me know how it goes!!!

    Thank you everyone, unfortunately my brothers don't have nintendogs and have no intention of getting it (they prefer more action-packed stuff) but at least I know it isn't crucial for the game. Laurakat thank you very much for your detailed instructions on Mario Kart, now all three of us can have great fun ramming each other into walls!!!! Thanks everyone who gave these helpful comments.
